When Jesus prayed, “your will be done” it involved suffering, but it also fulfilled God’s purposes. One of the ways we battle hopelessness is to take hold of the truth that there is purpose even in our pain. This allows us the freedom to grow through whatever it is we’re going through. There is purpose in our pain.
