7th and 8th-grade students have age-specific programming designed just for them.
In Junior High we ask 3 major questions: “Who am I?”, “Why am I here?” and “How do I relate to others and God?”. We explore these topics through weekend services, small groups, events, and serving opportunities.
Our goal is to create an experience where kids have an opportunity to meet Jesus and learn what it means to follow Him, while also building meaningful relationships with both leaders and peers. We invite Junior High kids to join us for camp this summer at Glorieta Adventure Camp in Glorieta, New Mexico for high-energy games, biblical truth, team-building, worship, devotional time, and more!
This Spring, Sun Valley Students will partner with UCYC Campground to assist with a few work projects to prepare them for the summer season. During the days, we will tackle projects such as painting and helping with landscaping. In the evenings, we will head into town and serve the local community, partnering with ministries that help families needing clothing and food. We will walk through biblical principles about serving and what that means for our faith. All of which provide a great opportunity for our students to put into practice what we teach here at Sun Valley.
