Work at Sun Valley
Sun Valley began as a church plant in 1990 in Chandler, Arizona. Over the years Sun Valley has grown into a large mult-site church in the Phoenix area. Currently there are five campuses located in Casa Grande, East Mesa, Gilbert, Tempe and Queen Creek. Together, nearly 8,000 people attend a Sun Valley Campus each weekend. Sun Valley has been featured in a book by Leadership Network about church mergers: Better Together: Making Church Mergers Work, and has been named by Outreach Magazine as one of the 100 fastest growing churches in the nation.

Next Step Director / Pastor - Queen Creek
The Next Step Director/Pastor is responsible for helping people take the next step in their relationship with Jesus. This role would provide leadership over the many ministry environments to adults beyond weekend services with an emphasis on connecting people to relationship and responsibility. This position would be responsible for leading a team that oversees assimilation, baptism, small groups, bridge groups, local outreach and recovery ministries. Current Part-Time Opportunities
Weekend Service Facilities - Gilbert
These positions would involve: Putting away all signs and tables; cleaning and restocking the bathrooms; empty all trash containers (checking the bathrooms every 30min during services); preparation for locking up the campus for the night. Being visible for emergencies for facilities during the service times. These positions require background checks and physical abilities such as lifting requirements and excessive standing/walking. Children's Midweek Ministry Teachers - Gilbert
The Children's Midweek Ministry team is looking for Sun Valley attendees interested in part-time teaching positions to love, care for and teach children ages two through pre-school Tuesday and Thursday mornings and two through elementary age children Monday and Thursday evenings. Individuals should possess a positive attitude, love Jesus and children, be reliable and work well with others. Children's Midweek Ministry Teachers - Tempe
The Children's Midweek Ministry team is looking for Sun Valley attendees interested in part-time teaching positions to love, care for and teach children ages birth - 4th grade on Tuesday evenings. Early Childhood Coordinator - Tempe
The Early Childhood Coordinator will be responsible to run the Early Childhood Ministry during all weekend services. The Early Childhood coordinator will develop and lead a team of volunteers to create engaging weekend environments. Under the direction of the SV Kids Director, The Early Childhood Coordinator will also participate in the spiritual development and training of volunteers and kids. The Early Childhood Director will also partner with parents in order to assist them in building faith at home and support them in their parenting journey. Communications Assistant - Central Services
The Communications Assistant position provides support to all components of the Communications Department. The primary objective is to help people meet, know and follow Jesus through all internal communications and external marketing. This person should be organized, outgoing, have excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills, and have an ability to work as part of a team. This role should lead by example, and cultivate a positive spirit throughout the church family. This person should represent Christ and His church well in the community at large. This person should be a team player and follow the biblical model of sacrifice by being willing to put the needs of others in front of their own.
