Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

With an amazing 6.3 million people, Rio de Janeiro is the second largest city in Brazil, and the third largest city in South America. Our partners, Don and Angie Finley (Converge Worldwide), work just outside of Rio, raising up, equipping, and sending out young Latin missionaries to Northern Africa.

This summer we have the opportunity to take a team of people to Rio de Janeiro to work with children, youth and adults who are in need of the gospel. We will connect with a local church to help them reach out and evangelize to their local community. This ministry could take many shapes depending on the needs of the church, but will most likely include Vacation Bible School for children with programming for youth, and home visits for adults. It could also include some light construction projects.

You must be at least 18 years of age to attend this missing trip, or at least 13 if accompanied by a parent or guardian. Fundraising options are available to help with the cost. Trip cost covers airfare, in-country food, transportation, housing, health insurance, and leader cost.
