There are 6.8 billion people in the world. 3 billion of them live on less than $2.50 per day. 1 billion of them cannot read or write. 1 billion of them are hungry. 1 billion of them do not have access to clean water. 33.4 million are living with HIV. 15 million are children who have been orphaned due to the HIV pandemic. 10 million are women and children who are enslaved in commercial sex trafficking.

The goal of the Global Outreach Ministry at Sun Valley is to make our congregation aware of global issues such as these as well as find effective ways to respond. We do this by developing strategic partnerships around the world who are addressing these issues in meaningful ways. By coming alongside these partnerships and their ministries, we are able to bring intentional opportunities to our church body, enabling them to have a global impact.
