At Sun Valley we encourage you to grow in your relationship with Jesus through small groups. Small groups offer the opportunity to connect with others on a consistent basis to develop friendships that are centered around God’s Word.

Small Groups are a place where you can get to know people just like yourself and grow to be more like Christ. They are safe places to share our lives, ask questions, pray, serve each other, and to reach out to our community.

Sun Valley offers a variety of groups that meet at different days, times, and locations. Use our Small Group Finder as an easy way to get connected to the small group that is right for you.

If you have been married for any amount of time, you know that marriage can bring about incredible joy and friendship. You may also know that marriage can also be really hard. We want you to know you are not alone. Whether your marriage needs some simple reminders of intentionality, or if it is in need of a complete healing, RE l ENGAGE is a safe place for couples to reconnect.

RE | ENGAGE offers hope to marriages by helping couples move toward oneness through stories of grace, teaching and small groups.

Join us for this 11-week experience which includes a time of teaching or testimony by a couple who has experienced victory in the midst of hard times, and small group time which follows a specified curriculum.

We all need a plan for our money. Financial Peace University (FPU) is that plan! It teaches God’s ways of handling money. Through video teaching, class discussions and interactive small group activities, FPU presents biblical, practical steps to get from where you are to where you’ve dreamed you could be. This plan will show you how to get rid of debt, manage your money, spend and save wisely, and much more!

Financial Peace University is a 9-week group that transforms your ability to take the money you already have and make it stretch and work for you. You won’t believe how easy it is to transform your financial condition when you discover God’s principles for handling finances.

Every parent has dreams for their child. As parents, we all start out with the best intentions. Although, at some point, we move from dreams to duct tape and hope that each day everything will just stick together. Raising kids in today’s culture is a difficult challenge and it requires a plan. Without a plan, parents usually default to Quick-Fix Parenting. Let’s face it: it’s just easier to focus on immediate problems rather than deal with the deeper and more important ones. Surviving each day is much easier than taking the time and energy to consider how parenting actions impact a child’s future. We get it. Join us for this 5-week journey as we learn to become intentional in parenting our children. Our time together will begin with a large group session followed by smaller breakout group sessions.

Women's Bible Studies

Our mission is to help women grow authentic relationships as they meet, know, and follow Jesus. We are authentic women looking to connect with other women while studying God's word, walking together towards our mission and sharing life experiences before and through our walk with Jesus Christ.

Mothers Of Preschoolers (MOPS)

Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) is designed for all mothers with children from birth through kindergarten. The purpose of MOPS is to nurture every mother of preschoolers by meeting her distinct needs to the glory of Jesus Christ. MOPS offers a haven for moms by providing an encouraging, accepting atmosphere where a mom finds out she is not alone.

The MOPS group provides encouragement, support, teaching, and friendships in a relaxed atmosphere of caring, sharing and fun. In these relationships moms find answers for their everyday dilemmas and discover a safe place to explore and discuss life.

Join us for the Fall 2016 semester! We have two groups meeting at Sun Valley Gilbert on alternating Tuesdays. Both groups have the same programming.
MOPS "Nova" begins August 16 at 9:30am.

MOPS "Solelil" begins August 23 at 9:30am.
