At Sun Valley we encourage you to grow in your relationship with Jesus through small groups. Small groups offer the opportunity to connect with others on a consistent basis to develop friendships that are centered around God’s Word.
Small Groups are a place where you can get to know people just like yourself and grow to be more like Christ. They are safe places to share our lives, ask questions, pray, serve each other, and to reach out to our community.
Sun Valley offers a variety of groups that meet at different days, times, and locations. Use our Small Group Finder as an easy way to get connected to the small group that is right for you.
If you have been married for any amount of time, you know that marriage can bring about incredible joy and friendship. You may also know that marriage can also be really hard. We want you to know you are not alone. Whether your marriage needs some simple reminders of intentionality, or if it is in need of a complete healing, RE l ENGAGE is a safe place for couples to reconnect.
RE | ENGAGE offers hope to marriages by helping couples move toward oneness through stories of grace, teaching and small groups.
Join us for this 13-week experience which includes a time of teaching or testimony by a couple who has experienced victory in the midst of hard times, and small group time which follows a specified curriculum.
The next classes will be offered in August 2016.
Financial Peace University
We all need a plan for our money. Financial Peace University (FPU) is that plan! It teaches God’s ways of handling money. Through video teaching, class discussions and interactive small group activities, FPU presents biblical, practical steps to get from where you are to where you’ve dreamed you could be. This plan will show you how to get rid of debt, manage your money, spend and save wisely, and much more!
Financial Peace University is a 9-week group that transforms your ability to take the money you already have and make it stretch and work for you. You won’t believe how easy it is to transform your financial condition when you discover God’s principles for handling finances.
MOPS stands for "Mothers of Preschoolers" - but don't let that confuse you. Mothers of Preschoolers is about meeting the needs of every mom of a child from conception through kindergarten. Whether you're urban, suburban, rural, stay-at-home, working, teen, adoptive, special-needs, single or married, MOPS is for you!
Being moms is what brings us together and allows us to build a community. The early years of being a mom are just as foundational to you as they are to your baby, and those years are filled with unique needs that other moms instinctively understand.
This ministry exists to reach out to moms and build community while providing an opportunity to grow in an authentic relationship with Jesus.
Whether you attend Sun Valley Community Church or not, Mothers of Preschoolers is for you.
Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) has two groups meeting at the Gilbert Campus. MOPS "Fierce" meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month, and MOPS "Brava" meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month. Both groups have identical programming. Meetings run August through May, from 9:30am-11:30am.
