Merge (5th/6th Grade)

Merge is an exciting ministry that reaches 5th and 6th graders through relevant teaching, media, games, music, and events throughout the year. We believe that 5th and 6th graders can impact the world.

Take a look at what we have to offer your student:

Outreach Events:

Will be offered throughout the year for your students to invite friends. These events will be high energy and geared to expose nonbelievers to the church and God's love.

Weekend:

The weekend for 5th & 6th graders is a fun environment that allows time to learn from God's word and make it practical. This will be accomplished in many different ways throughout the year. The goal for the weekend is to make a very inviting place for your students and their friends to come and learn about the God who loves them and created them.

Camps:

It's a time to get away and build relationships with people and God that don't happen at home. We encourage all students to be a part of camps.

White-Out Winter Camp Info

When:
February 12 - 14, 2010
We will meet at Sun Valley Friday, February 12th at 4:30 pm and return Sunday, February 14th at approximately 2pm.

Where:
United Christian Youth Camp in Prescott, AZ

Cost:
Registration is $142, if $50 non-refundable deposit is paid by January 31st. After January 31st, the cost increases to $165. Balance due no later than February 7th.
Cost includes transportation, 2 nights lodging, meals from Friday dinner to Sunday breakfast, and a lot of fun.
Students will need to bring spending money for snack bar and for lunch on the way home.

Small Groups:

We meet on campus on Wednesday evenings in a large group first, and then split into small groups. This is a great place for your student to grow by building healthy relationships with other students and leaders who care for them.

Serving:

Our desire is to see 5th & 6th grade students serving at Sun Valley. Whether it's setting up for the weekend service, welcoming new students or serving in children's ministry. With serving, 5th & 6th grade students can play an important and significant role in their church.

Mission Trips:

5th & 6th grade students have the opportunity to spend their spring break on an inner-city mission trip for all ages that challenges students to live out what the Bible teaches.

We partner with local organizations that allow students to experience a different culture, all the while serving God.

We meet at 5:00pm on Saturdays and at 9:00, 10:30 & 11:59am on Sundays
