Children's Ministry at Sun Valley Community Church

We believe that planting seeds of faith in the hearts and minds of children is one of the most important things we can do!

We strive to create an exceptional weekend experience for children, birth – 4th grade, because we believe that coming to church and building a relationship with God and others should be a highlight of their week! The curriculum we use is fun, age appropriate, hands on, and engaging.

We focus on building relationships with the children so they will feel safe and unconditionally loved while they are in our care. We believe that when kids know how much we care, they will care how much we know! This relationship allows us the ability to impact their minds AND their hearts with the Word of God!

While we believe that parents are the primary nurturers of their child’s spiritual development, we take our responsibility to heart in partnering with families to build a strong spiritual foundation in their lives of their children.

SEEDLINGS
is our Early Childhood Program for children birth through Pre –K . Our goal is to teach every child three basic truths; God made them, God loves them, and Jesus wants to be their forever friend.

ROCK SOLID KIDS
is our elementary program for kids in Kindergarten - 4th grade. Our goal is to teach every child three basic truths; I need to make the wise choice, I can trust God no matter what and I need to treat others the way I want to be treated.
